If youre looking We are seeking a motivated and talented Research and Development Executive with expertise in the Embedded & IoT domain to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess an experience in embedded design, PCB layout, soldering, and IoT development. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the design, development, testing, and mass production of embedded hardware and software systems Experience: 2+ years Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop embedded hardware systems including schematic and PCB layout design. - Develop and debug embedded firmware using C/C++ for microcontrollers (e.g., ARM, AVR, ESP32, STM32). - Work on IoT devices, integrating sensors, communication modules (Wi-Fi, BLE, LoRa, etc.). - Assemble and solder prototypes and test circuits using standard lab equipment. - Conduct system-level testing and validation of prototypes. - Collaborate with mechanical designers on 3D printing and CAD modeling of enclosures. - Support mass production activities, including design for manufacturability (DFM), test jig development, and vendor coordination. - Document hardware and software designs, maintain BOMs, and support compliance testing. - Maintain technical documentation, schematics, BOMs, and test reports. - Conduct research and development activities in the Embedded & IoT domain. - Integrate hardware components and sensors for IoT applications. - Participate in the full software development lifecycle. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. - 2+ years of experience in embedded systems development. - Proficient in PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, Eagle, KiCAD, Easy EDA etc). - Strong soldering and hardware debugging skills. - Experience with embedded programming (C/C++) and RTOS-based systems. - Understanding of communication protocols like UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, MQTT,CoAP, and HTTP. - Familiarity with IoT architectures and cloud platforms is a plus. - Experience in 3D printing and CAD tools (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, etc.). - Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. - Proven experience in embedded systems development and IoT technologies. - Familiarity with microcontrollers, microprocessors, and embedded operating systems. - Experience in product lifecycle management and manufacturing processes. - Experience in digital signage systems (LED displays, media players, controllers). - Exposure to ARM Cortex-M development and real-time operating systems (FreeRTOS, Zephyr). - Understanding of EMI/EMC considerations and regulatory standards (CE/FCC/BIS etc ). - Experience in mass production workflows and working with contract manufacturers.
