ReactJS Intern

The Role:

We’re looking for a motivated and passionate React.js/Frontend Developer Intern who enjoys building intuitive and dynamic user experiences. You’ll work closely with our frontend and backend teams to develop new features, maintain existing systems, and learn industry-standard practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, responsive code.​
• Develop new user-facing features and components using React.js.​
• Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable code for future use.​
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs.​​
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure a smooth user experience.​
• Optimize application components for maximum performance across a variety of devices and browsers.​

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.​
• A thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles (Components, State, Props, and the component lifecycle).​
• Familiarity with modern React concepts like Hooks (useState, useEffect) and the Context API.​
• Solid knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3, with an eye for design and detail.​
• Familiarity with consuming RESTful APIs using both the native Fetch API and libraries like Axios, including handling credentials like cookies.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.​
• A portfolio of personal projects, coursework, or a GitHub profile that demonstrates your skills and passion for frontend development.

Preferred (Bonus) Skills:

• Experience with Tailwind CSS or other utility-first CSS frameworks.​
• An understanding of UI/UX principles.​
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman.
