React Native Developer

Purpose of the Role

• Deliver new features.
• Maintain existing features.
• Prevent regressions.
• Review code written by other team members.
• Ensure app stability on Android and iOS.
• Understand and correctly handle platform differences.
• Follow agreed coding patterns and maintain code consistency.
• Work with one shared code base using country/environment configurations.

Required Experience

• 5+ years full-time React Native experience.
• Strong TypeScript experience.
• Proven experience delivering production Android and iOS apps.
• Knowledge of:
• Navigation differences between platforms.
• Permission handling on both OSes.
• File system differences.
• Background tasks on Android and iOS.
• Animations and performance optimization.
• App Store and Play Store guidelines.
• Experience with multi-country shared code bases using configuration files.
• Strong Git (GitHub) skills:
• PR creation and review.
• Rebasing and merging.
• Cherry-picking.
• Conflict resolution.
• Experience with GraphQL.
• Experience with Firebase Remote Config.
• Experience with NX workspaces.
• Experience working in agile teams (two-week sprints).
• Ability to deliver tasks within agreed scope and time.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Bitrise preferred).

• Experience with e-wallet, payments, or fintech apps.
• Experience with multi-country or multi-tenant apps.
• Experience with Play Store / App Store release processes.

Daily Responsibilities

• Complete assigned sprint tasks.
• Develop new features according to specifications.
• Fix bugs and maintain existing features.
• Test features on both Android and iOS devices.
• Implement country-specific behavior via configuration files.
• Attend daily standups.
• Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives.
• Raise issues early when scope is unclear or timing is at risk.
• Collaborate with backend and QA teams.
• Follow established architecture and coding rules.
• Document changes when necessary.
• Monitor crash/error logs and fix issues.
• Ensure stable and predictable app performance
