React Developer Systems Engineer

As a talented web developer joining the React Development Team at AutoZone, you will have the opportunity to work on agile scrum teams to build and maintain web applications. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Implementing features that meet business requirements while maintaining a healthy, sustainable, and reliable codebase - Collaborating with peer developers and leads for requirements refinement, pair programming, code reviews, design reviews, and other developer activities - Contributing to overall group objectives such as finding opportunities for cross-product code reuse, improving developer experience using automation, and enhancing operational stability - Owning your professional development by seeking challenging work assignments - Supporting a collaborative, self-empowered, and distributed work culture To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Ability to move fluidly between high-level abstract thinking and detail-oriented implementation, open to new ideas, approaches, and technologies - Data and fact-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies, tools, and organizational structures/strategies - Understanding of industry-standard best practices regarding integration, architecture, tools, and processes - Self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts and designs Education and Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Technology, or a related field - Experience in developing web applications using React, Redux, JavaScript, and TypeScript - Proficiency with modern React using hooks, context, and state management - 7 to 9 years of experience as a full-time developer - Familiarity with Agile processes and the Scrum framework - Experience with SCM tools like Git, GitLab, and GitHub - Ability to work on a distributed team using chat and collaboration software for primary communications - Advocate of clean code At AutoZone, our core values guide everything we do.
