React Architect

You will play a crucial role as a React Architect at Persistent Systems by spearheading the development and delivery of digital experiences for diverse clients and solutions across various platforms. Your responsibilities will involve creating engaging, insightful, and intelligent digital solutions that span desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. It will be essential for you to establish best practices at the project, client, and department levels, collaborating with senior creatives to explore new business opportunities based on your extensive industry knowledge. You must stay abreast of emerging trends and guide the interactive team to capitalize on these trends effectively. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with local technical and design leadership to deliver innovative, transformative, and industry-disrupting solutions. Your primary duties will include working collaboratively with team members and engaging with designated business stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive understanding of business requirements before initiating the design and development process. You will be responsible for implementing cutting-edge technical solutions based on agreed-upon technical designs, while adhering to industry-standard development patterns and methodologies, such as continuous integration and automated testing. Additionally, you will conduct thorough testing of the implemented solutions prior to User Acceptance Testing and provide assistance, when necessary, in deploying components to development and test environments. Your expertise should encompass a background as a Tech Lead (Team Leader) and experience in collaborating with UX designers. You should be well-versed in Continuous Delivery methods, including TDD and automated testing, as well as have a strong command of front-end layers/tiers of projects with rich UI. Proficiency in front-end testing frameworks like Jest, Jasmine, and Karma, designing responsive GUI for Desktop and Mobile applications, and creating Digital products in the Banking sector are essential. Prior experience in a front-office environment in an investment bank would be advantageous. Your technical knowledge should span HTML5, CSS3, CSS-processors like SASS and less, JavaScript, Typescript, and React.js. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively within a team or independently, and a flexible approach to delivery responsibilities.
