Responsibilities:

Cost Estimation:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including material, labor, and overhead costs.
• Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine accurate quantities and costs.

Tendering:

• Manage the tendering process, including the preparation and submission of bids.
• Evaluate and analyze tender documents, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of project requirements.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services.

Cost Control:

• Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction phase.
• Track and analyze variations and change orders, assessing their impact on project costs.

Quantity Take-off:

• Conduct detailed quantity take-offs from architectural and engineering drawings.
• Verify and update quantity estimates based on project progress and changes.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date quantity information.

Contract Management:

• Assist in the preparation and negotiation of contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Review and understand contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance.
• Manage contractual relationships and address any contractual disputes that may arise.

Documentation:

• Maintain comprehensive and organized project documentation related to quantity surveying activities.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on project cost status, including forecasts and final accounts.
• Ensure that all project documentation complies with regulatory and internal standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Experience of 7-12 years Head Office Experience
• Well proficient in AUTOCAD, Excel a must.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes.
• Familiarity with relevant software tools for cost estimation and project management.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
