Quantitative Analyst

As a Quant Developer (Python) for Alphinion Capital, you will be involved in building systematic/algorithmic trading strategies for Indian capital markets. You will play a key role in enhancing the in-house trading stack by working on both the backend (data/infra) and frontend (dashboards/apps). **Key Responsibilities:** - Build and maintain data pipelines for time-series market data such as equities, F&O minute bars, and ticks. - Create tools for research, backtesting, and live trading while assisting in automating existing processes. - Develop interactive dashboards using Dash/Streamlit for monitoring, analytics, and execution. - Implement and enhance best-execution and risk/position management functions. - Collaborate with the team on strategy prototyping, validation, and deployment. **Qualifications Required:** - Strong fundamentals in Python with expertise in the scientific stack including NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, and Pandas. - Proficiency in visualization/app frameworks like Plotly, Matplotlib, Dash, and/or Streamlit. - Solid understanding of time-series data, data wrangling, and capital-market datasets. - Clear coding practices, familiarity with Git, curiosity, and a fast learning mindset. **Nice to have:** - Experience with backtesting frameworks, paper/live trading, or exchange/broker APIs. - Knowledge of derivatives, Greek, market microstructure, SQL/NoSQL, Linux, Docker, and task queues/schedulers. - Skills in Stats/ML for forecasting, feature selection, and model evaluation.
