Quant Research Analyst

Role & responsibilities:

• Develop, design and execute quantitative and analytical models and strategies to identify potential investment opportunities.
  
• Conduct back testing of strategies to ensure robustness in different market regimes and Create statistical reports.
  
• Collect, clean, store and analyze large datasets from various sources which involves web scraping data to derive meaningful insights.
  
• Responsible for providing market risk assessment.
  
• Using different data points to understand what drives the earnings of a business.
  
• Stay abreast of the latest academic research, industry trends and emerging technologies in finance to enhance the research process continuously and develop innovative investment ideas.

Requirements :

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or B.S. or B.A in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Physics or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  
• Excellent programming skills in Python or any other statistical software are required
  
• Strong Analytical Skills are required
  
• Strong foundation in Statistics and Mathematics is required
  
• Proficiency in Quantitative Analytics is required
  
• Experience with SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau is a plus.
  
• Experience in the financial or investment industry is a plus.
