Manager – Quality Engineering

Key Responsibilities

Thought Leadership

• Consult with clients to define QA strategies and automation solutions.
• Design and implement enterprise-wide QA strategies across complex multi-stack applications.
• Provide guidance on QA best practices, automation ROI, and adoption roadmaps.

Technical Leadership

• Establish and optimize automation frameworks, tools, and processes.
• Oversee design, architecture reviews, and technical delivery of automation solutions.
• Define and implement continuous testing strategies (CI/CD, DevOps).
• Ensure complete QA coverage across requirement analysis, test design, automation, execution, and reporting.

Team Leadership & Delivery

• Mentor, guide, and upskill team members on technical and domain expertise.
• Drive planning, estimation, resource allocation, and execution tracking.
• Act as a quality evangelist—ensuring adherence to project standards and QA guidelines.
• Provide clear test reporting, including coverage, metrics, defect status, and delivery readiness.

Qualifications & Skills

Mandatory

• 10–14 years

  of overall QA/testing experience with

  4+ years

  in automation leadership roles.
• Strong

  Java/JavaScript programming

  skills including Java collection frameworks.
• Hands-on expertise with

  automation tools

  : Selenium (mandatory), Cucumber, Appium, SOAPUI, WebDriver IO, Nightwatch, etc.
• Proven track record of

  framework development

  (greenfield projects).
• Strong experience in

  UI & API automation

  (Webservices/Microservices).
• Familiarity with

  CI/CD tools

  : GitLab (preferred), Jenkins.
• Cloud experience:

  AWS

  and cloud-based test platforms (e.g., Sauce Labs, Perfecto).
• Working knowledge of

  performance testing tools

  (JMeter or equivalent).
• In-depth understanding of Agile, BDD, and DevOps practices.

Preferred

• Prior

  industry experience in Financial Services

  .
• Exposure to enterprise-scale, multi-stack QA environments.
