Quality Automation Engineer- eBusiness

Role Overview: At Apple, the global ETS eBusiness team is seeking a highly motivated engineer to join the eBusiness QA team as a Test Automation Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing test automation frameworks, tools, and tests for front-end applications, backend services, and implementing performance testing. Key Responsibilities: - Create, maintain, and expand internal applications, automation frameworks, tools, and end-to-end functional tests - Collaborate with Automation and QA Engineers to develop robust solutions that improve productivity and ensure high-quality releases - Engage in daily discussions with business teams and cross-functional partners to drive innovation and create tools that enhance application coverage and stability - Develop innovative solutions and strategies to expand the coverage of features delivered to customers Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of experience in software quality engineering - Experience in developing automation scripts using Selenium/Playwright and Java - Proficiency in framework development using Java - Experience in developing test automation for RESTful API Services using Rest Assured - Familiarity with performance testing using JMeter - Knowledge of test automation frameworks such as TestNG, BDD frameworks like Cucumber or Gauge - Experience with Git and codebase management - Familiarity with CI/CD Technologies, preferably Jenkins - Ability to create and review test scenarios, scripts, and plans - Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail - Enthusiasm for user-focused design and high-quality products - Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with development teams, management, and other teams within Apple Additional Details: Join the high-impact Apple ecosystem team and contribute to delivering world-class software that brings a smile to users" faces.
