Quality Assurance Engineer

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Computronics in Indore, India, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high quality of our products. Your responsibilities will include: - Reviewing system requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide accurate analysis for product improvement. - Planning and executing test plans and cases, generating reports on results, and delivering them to relevant departments. - Making recommendations and execution plans based on report findings. - Collaborating with other Quality Assurance Engineers for testing and development of site capability and functionality. - Evaluating product code and creating automation scripts as necessary. - Documenting testing phases, identifying and recording defects, bugs, errors, and other issues. - Assisting in troubleshooting issues during testing and offering recommendations for resolution. - Participating in retesting once bugs and issues have been resolved. - Establishing Quality Assurance Engineer strategy and best practices. - Testing and reporting on current client offerings to ensure they meet high standards. To be successful in this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. - Strong understanding of project management, QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Ability to create comprehensive test plans, define testing strategies, and solve difficult bugs. - Experience in black and white-box testing, automated testing tools, and troubleshooting technical skills. - Knowledge of performance-based and security-based testing. - Proficiency in Java, Python, Ruby, and other object-oriented programming languages. - Familiarity with SQL, databases, Agile frameworks, and Linux/Unix environments. - More than two years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role. - Experience working in Agile and/or Scrum methodologies. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with a passion for technology.
