Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for performance, load, and stress testing using
Apache JMeter
.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements and define testing strategies.
Execute performance tests, analyze results, and identify system bottlenecks or performance issues.
Integrate JMeter test scripts with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
Prepare detailed test reports and provide recommendations for performance improvements.
Conduct functional, regression, and API automation testing as required.
Ensure test coverage, accuracy, and compliance with project quality standards.
Continuously enhance automation frameworks and adopt best practices in testing.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
2–5 years of experience
in automation testing with a strong focus on
performance testing
.
Proficiency in
Apache JMeter
(test plan design, scripting, correlation, parameterization, assertions).
Strong knowledge of
performance metrics
(response time, throughput, latency, error rate).
Hands-on experience with
API testing
(REST/SOAP) and automation frameworks.
Familiarity with
CI/CD tools
(Jenkins, Git, Docker, etc.).
Good understanding of
SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
