Job Description

In the role of Software Engineering at the company, you will be involved in the development, maintenance, and optimization of software solutions and applications. You will apply scientific methods to analyze and solve software engineering problems. Your responsibilities will include the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge in areas such as research, design, development, and maintenance. Your work will require the use of original thought and judgment, as well as the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers. Additionally, you will build skills and expertise in your software engineering discipline to meet the standard expectations for a software engineer as defined in Professional Communities. Collaboration and teamwork with other software engineers and stakeholders will also be a key aspect of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Works in the area of Software Engineering, encompassing development, maintenance, and optimization of software solutions/applications. - Applies scientific methods to analyze and solve software engineering problems. - Responsible for developing and applying software engineering practice and knowledge in research, design, development, and maintenance. - Exercises original thought and judgment, supervising the work of other software engineers. - Builds skills and expertise in the software engineering discipline to meet standard expectations. - Collaborates and acts as a team player with other software engineers and stakeholders. In this Grade Specific role, you are highly respected, experienced, and trusted. You will master all phases of the software development lifecycle, applying innovation and industrialization. Demonstrate dedication and commitment to business objectives and responsibilities, as well as to the group as a whole. Operating with no supervision in highly complex environments, you will take responsibility for a substantial aspect of the company's activities. You should be able to manage difficult and complex situations calmly and professionally, considering the bigger picture when making decisions. Demonstrating clear understanding of commercial and negotiating principles in less-easy situations, you will focus on developing long-term partnerships with clients. Leadership skills will be essential in balancing business, technical, and people objectives, playing a significant role in the recruitment and development of team members.
