Quality Analyst(Automation)

You will be working with RoboMQ, a leading API and data integration company that helps enterprises automate critical business processes to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. They offer a SaaS product called Hire2Retire, which is a lightweight IGA solution automating employee lifecycle management across systems such as Active Directory, Azure AD, and Google Directory. As a Quality Analyst at RoboMQ, your primary responsibility will be to ensure high-quality delivery of new features and integrations for their API and data platforms. Your tasks will include managing requirements, validating features, supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensuring a seamless product experience. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to achieve these goals. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into detailed test cases, user stories, specifications, and workflows. - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web applications and API testing. - Engage in manual testing for complex or edge-case scenarios when necessary, in addition to the primary focus on automation. - Continuously enhance the automation framework by adopting new tools, techniques, and best practices to improve test coverage and efficiency. - Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes and validate product features within Jira. - Work closely with engineering teams during development and testing phases to identify and resolve issues early. - Keep track of feature development and defect backlogs to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software. - Actively participate in Agile teams by joining daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Qualifications Required: - 2-5 years of experience in QA automation or software testing. - Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc. - Proficiency in programming/scripting languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java. - Experience with automated test frameworks and involvement in their maintenance or enhancement. - Strong understanding of testing types including functional, regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Nice to Have: - Experience in testing REST APIs using tools like Postman or RestAssured. - Knowledge of BDD/TDD methodologies and tools such as Cucumber and Gherkin. - Exposure to JMeter or other performance testing tools.,
