Quality Analyst Internship

As an intern at our company, you will be responsible for the following day-to-day tasks: You will review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Additionally, you will create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Your role will involve estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activities. You will also be tasked with designing, developing, and executing automation scripts using open-source tools. Identifying, recording, documenting thoroughly, and tracking bugs will be a crucial part of your responsibilities. It will be essential for you to perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved. Furthermore, you will need to develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs. Collaborating with internal teams such as developers and product managers to identify system requirements will also be a part of your daily tasks. Monitoring debugging process results and investigating the causes of non-conforming software will be important aspects of your role. You will also play a key role in training users to implement solutions. Tracking quality assurance metrics like defect densities and open defect counts will be necessary. Additionally, staying up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies will be expected of you.
