Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement enterprise-wide QA strategies, standards, and frameworks.
• Lead the design of test automation architectures across multiple products and platforms.
• Guide teams on the adoption of shift-left testing, CI/CD pipelines, and DevTestOps practices.
• Evaluate and recommend tools for automation, performance, security, and service-level testing.
• Act as a QA evangelist, mentoring QA engineers, developers, and stakeholders on quality practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable and maintainable testing solutions.
• Monitor quality metrics and help drive improvements using data-driven insights.
• Establish governance and oversight for test environments, test data management, and release quality gates.
  

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a QA Architect or senior QA engineer in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium).
• Experience integrating test automation in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured), performance testing (JMeter, Gatling), and security testing basics.
• Hands-on coding experience in languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices testing.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
