The role of an Automation Tester Associate at PwC involves working on developing cutting-edge software solutions and driving product innovation to meet evolving client needs. The Automation Engineer position requires a highly skilled professional with at least 3 years of experience in test automation frameworks, scripting, and test case development. Proficiency in tools such as Selenium, UiPath, TOSCA, Python, Java, or JavaScript is necessary. Experience with SDLC, STLC, Agile Methodology, Scrum framework, and BDD practices is desirable. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing automated test cases to ensure software functionality and quality. Integration of automation tests into CI/CD pipelines and collaboration with development and QA teams will be essential for improving test automation coverage and performance. Key qualifications for this role include: - 3+ years of experience in automation testing and framework development - Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks like Selenium, UiPath - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript - Hands-on experience in BDD methodologies - Knowledge of test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, Bugzilla, HP ALM - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Additional qualifications like automation testing certification, experience with API automation testing, knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices would be advantageous. The role may require travel to client locations and working on shifts based on project requirements. This position is based in Bangalore, India, within the Advisory line of service, focusing on Testing Managed Services. As an Associate, you will be expected to engage with specific clients and align with project requirements to deliver high-quality automation testing services.,
