QA Tester

Role & responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements, system specifications, and technical design documents.
• Develop ,maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform different types of testing: functional, regression, integration, system, and UI testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to reproduce and resolve issues.
• Ensure test coverage for new features and bug fixes.
• Provide clear and concise test results, defect reports, and suggestions for improvements.
• Support automation efforts by learning and applying basic automation frameworks when needed.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1 year of experience in software testing (manual and/or automation).
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium, Postman (for API testing).
• Basic knowledge of SQL queries for database validation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
