Job Description

As a QA Tester, your main responsibility will be to test systems, applications, and software products to identify any issues that may arise. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that all of our systems and apps function smoothly without any glitches, ultimately contributing to a positive user experience. Your duties will include running and testing new apps and software, executing various levels of QA tests such as System, Integration, and Regression, and developing test designs, processes, data, automation, and cases. It will be important for you to analyze the system thoroughly to ensure that the test strategy aligns with the development requirements. In addition, you will be responsible for documenting test plans comprehensively, identifying bugs, updating bug databases, running debug programs to fix defects, and collaborating with the development team to create effective test plans and strategies. Throughout the software development phase, you will be expected to make improvements to the system and maintain test environments. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with 2-5 years of relevant experience in QA or software testing. Professional certifications like ISTQB and CTFL will be advantageous. Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, Defect Management Systems, Quality Assurance practices, and tools like Selenium IDE, Selenium Web Driver, NUnit, Loadrunner, and JMeter are essential. Proficiency in designing and writing automation test scripts, database testing with SQL, software programming languages, organizational skills, project management abilities, communication skills, time management, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills are also key requirements for this role.,
