QA Software Tester

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Software Tester (QA) with 2 to 3 years of experience to join our team at Digiflux Technologies Private Limited in Vadodara. This is a full-time, on-site position. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in manual Software Testing (QA), along with hands-on experience in testing applications to ensure high-quality standards and contribute to the overall success of the software development lifecycle. As a Software Tester, you will work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to identify defects, ensure the product meets business requirements, and enhance the user experience. Additionally, you will be responsible for understanding project requirements, creating use-full documentation and planning micro-tasks based on project needs.

Key Responsibilities

● Develop and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on project requirements, user stories, and business specifications.

● Ensure coverage of all application functionality through manual testing, including functional, regression, and integration testing.

● Identify, log, and prioritize defects, providing clear and actionable details to the development team for resolution.

● Track and manage defects through to closure, ensuring effective communication regarding the status and resolution of issues.

● Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand application functionality and business requirements.

● Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-up meetings to stay aligned with team goals and priorities.

● Perform regression testing to ensure new changes or enhancements do not negatively impact existing features.

● Verify fixes for reported defects and perform retesting to validate successful resolution.

● Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test result documentation.

● Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and best practices to enhance the overall quality and efficiency of testing activities.

● Participate in the estimation of testing efforts, providing accurate time and resource estimates based on project requirements.

Ǫualifications

● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

● Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board) are a plus

Mandatory Skills

● Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Bug Life Cycle

● Hands-on experience in Requirement Analysis and Test Case Design

● Expertise in writing test scenarios, test cases, and test data preparation

● Good knowledge of functional, integration, regression, smoke/sanity, and UAT testing

● Experience working in Agile teams and attending daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Good to Have

● Strong analytical skills to understand complex systems and ensure the highest quality standards in test cases and defect identification.

● Problem-solving abilities to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues.

● Experience testing across multiple browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge) and devices (mobile, tablet) to ensure compatibility and responsiveness.

● Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools such as JIRA to manage test cases, report bugs, and track progress.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
