Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Quality Lab Technician responsible for performing mechanical and chemical tests on copper tubes and raw materials. The role involves operating and maintaining lab equipment, supporting shift-wise quality control, and ensuring accurate documentation. The candidate will also assist in identifying deviations, conducting root cause analysis, and maintaining safety and calibration standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine mechanical tests (e.g., tensile, hardness) and chemical analysis on copper tubes and raw materials.
Operate and maintain lab equipment such as the Spectrometer, UTM, Microscope, and other equipment relevant to copper tube testing.
Support shift-wise quality control activities, including in-process inspection and final product validation.
Identify deviations and assist in root cause analysis for non-conformities.
Follow lab safety protocols and maintain equipment calibration records.
Record test results accurately in lab registers and digital formats.

Experience:

0-3 years experience in Metal industries, Preferably Copper, Aluminum, steel, wire, Tube & Sheet. Familiarity with Non-Ferrous manufacturing processes.
