QA- Python / C++/Gtest/Pytest/UI automation

As a QA Engineer at FICO, you will be part of a dynamic team of software engineers working on creating the next generation decisioning platform for FICO's feature management capabilities. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing test plans and strategies that meet functional requirements, user stories, and user acceptance criteria. - Participating in release planning and product roll-out. - Conducting manual and automated testing (both "black" and "grey" box) for backend business applications written in C++ and Java, as well as client/server applications. - Reviewing, authoring, and maintaining flexible and maintainable automated test scripts to support QA automation. - Identifying and analyzing issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, and recommending solutions. - Communicating product readiness, quality metrics, and results to Quality Assurance Management and the project team. - Identifying gaps in quality assurance and testing processes and implementing solutions for continuous improvement. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Applications Systems Design, or related field. - 7+ years of overall experience in the software quality assurance industry. - Expertise in QA processes, testing skills, and experience with commercial software development processes. - Ability to develop and implement test automation strategies. - Collaboration with development and Product management teams. - Hands-on experience in migration, upgrade, integration, and end-to-end testing. - Proficiency in Agile methodology, QA concepts, and methodologies. - Knowledge of C++, Python, Java 17+, UI automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress. - Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, performance tools, RDBMS, and NoSQL skills. - Knowledge and experience of working in Unix.
