Job Description

Role Summary:

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain
automation test scripts
using Python (PyTest/Unittest/Robot Framework).
Design and implement
test automation frameworks
, reusable libraries, and tools.
Perform
functional, regression, API, UI, and integration testing
.
Work closely with developers and product teams to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
Utilize tools like
Selenium, Playwright, Appium
for automation.
Execute automated test suites and analyze results to report defects.
Integrate automation scripts into
CI/CD pipelines
(Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
Contribute to test documentation, test planning, and test reporting.
Support performance testing and debugging activities when required.
Ensure best QA practices and continuous improvement in automation.

Required Skills & Experience

2 to 8 years of experience as QA Automation Engineer.
Hands-on experience in
Python programming
and automation frameworks.
Strong experience with
Selenium / Playwright
for web test automation.
Good understanding of
REST API automation
using tools like
Postman / Requests / RestAssured (Python)
.
Experience with
CI/CD tools
(Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
Knowledge of
version control
(Git).
Knowledge of
test management tools
JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr.
Strong understanding of
SDLC, STLC & Agile
methodologies.
Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
