Job Description

A Quality Assurance (QA) Lead plays a critical role in the software development lifecycle by ensuring that the products meet the established standards of quality. Below is a typical job description (JD) for a QA Lead:

Key Responsibilities:

Assign tasks and manage the workload of the QA engineers.

Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress, issues, and improvements.

Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies.

Ensure test coverage for all functional and non-functional requirements.

Define and enforce QA standards, guidelines, and best practices.

Maintain documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports.

Oversee the execution of test cases and ensure accurate reporting of defects.

Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback.

Identify and manage risks associated with the software development process.

Develop mitigation strategies for identified risks.
