QA Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with 610 years of experience in functional and automation testing to join our Agile/Scrum team.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute functional and automated test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications.
• Proficient in designing and executing test cases for both web and mobile applications.
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman, ReadyAPI, etc.
• Develop and maintain API automation scripts to support continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Build and enhance automated test frameworks using tools like Selenium, ReadyAPI, or similar.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD workflows using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Analyse test results, identify bugs, and work closely with the development team to resolve issues.
• Write and execute SQL queries to validate backend data and ensure data integrity.
• Perform Unix-based validations and log analysis for backend services.
• Contribute to the enhancement of automation strategies and promote best practices in test automation.
• Conduct manual testing during sprint cycles and ensure comprehensive coverage through regression testing.

Skills Required:

• Functional testing, API testing, SQL, Unix
• API Automation using ReadyAPI, Postman, or similar tools
• UI Automation using Selenium or equivalent frameworks
• Experience with CI/CD integration of automated tests
• Good to know Java/Python for automation scripting
