Key Responsibilities

• Test Design & Execution: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using C# or Python for validating electronic measurement software and hardware systems.
• Manual Testing: Perform manual functional, regression, and system testing based on detailed requirements and test plans.
• Electronics Understanding: Apply core electronics and instrumentation concepts to validate data accuracy, performance, and behavior of software-driven electronic instruments.
• Defect Tracking: Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution using tools like Jira or Bitbucket.
• Quality Assurance: Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies, ensuring compliance with software QA standards and best practices.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, hardware, and product teams to deliver high-quality, reliable products within tight timelines.
• Reporting: Generate detailed test reports, summarize issues, and communicate testing progress effectively to stakeholders.
  

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• 0 to 4 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing, preferably in the electronics measurement or instrumentation domain.
• Strong understanding of electronics and electrical fundamentals.
• Proficiency in C# or Python for automation scripting.
• Solid grasp of manual testing methodologies, including test case design, execution, and defect reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Proactive attitude towards learning and continuous improvement.
  

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Working knowledge of Git for version control.
• Experience with Atlassian tools – Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket.
