Job Description

As a QA Engineer at Saarthee, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of all products developed by the Product Engineering team. You will be responsible for designing and implementing testing infrastructure, establishing automation frameworks, and managing testing cycles across various products. Collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and designers, you will strive to uphold the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability in every release. **Role Overview:** - Own QA strategy and execution for all product engineering initiatives. - Design and implement testing frameworks and infrastructure for functional, integration, and performance testing. - Develop and maintain automated test suites for web and API testing using modern tools. - Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines. - Conduct manual and exploratory testing for new product features, pilots, and releases. - Define and track quality metrics, test coverage, and defect resolution timelines. - Manage testing across multiple products, ensuring consistent standards and release quality. - Identify, document, and prioritize bugs while working with developers for quick resolution. - Drive test planning, regression testing, and release readiness reviews. - Contribute to pilot product testing, gathering user feedback and ensuring seamless performance before scale-up. - Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and best practices across the engineering team. **Key Responsibilities:** - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 5-8 years of professional experience in software testing or QA engineering, preferably in product-based environments. - Strong experience in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar). - Proficiency in API testing tools (Postman, Newman, RestAssured). - Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and version control (Git). - Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, k6) and bug tracking systems (JIRA). - Knowledge of test management systems (TestRail, Zephyr, or similar). - Experience in testing cloud-native applications (AWS, Azure, or GCP). - Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. - Ability to set up QA processes, standards, and automation pipelines from scratch. - Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities. - A proactive mindset with ownership over product quality and pilot readiness.
