Key Responsibilities

Manual Testing & Quality Assurance

• Perform comprehensive manual testing of our React web application across multiple browsers and devices
• Execute functional, regression, and exploratory testing to identify bugs and usability issues
• Create and maintain detailed test cases and test documentation
• Conduct user acceptance testing and validate feature requirements

Release Testing & Management

• Lead release testing cycles to ensure product readiness for deployment
• Coordinate with developers and product to validate bug fixes and new features
• Manage testing timelines and communicate release readiness status
• Perform smoke testing and post-deployment validation

Bug Management & Documentation

• Document and track bugs using

  Jira

  with clear, actionable descriptions
• Create detailed bug reports with steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual results
• Use Jam. dev for screen recordings to effectively communicate issues to developers
• Prioritize and triage bugs based on severity and business impact

Independent Problem-Solving

• Analyze features and functionality to understand expected behavior (even with limited documentation)
• Proactively identify edge cases and potential user scenarios
• Work independently to determine testing approaches and coverage
• Collaborate effectively via Slack with cross-functional teams

Required Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Exceptional attention to detail and methodical approach to testing
• Strong ability to focus and work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience with manual testing methodologies and best practices
• Familiarity with web application testing across different browsers and devices
• Basic understanding of React applications and web technologies
• Experience with Jira for project management and bug tracking
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Technical Requirements

• Understanding of software testing lifecycle and QA processes
• Ability to create clear, comprehensive test cases and documentation
• Experience with mobile web & cross-browser testing and responsive design validation
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (helpful for debugging)
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
