Job Description

As a skilled and passionate Web Manual QA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of web applications. You will design, develop, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test runs, along with automated tests using Selenium/Java. Your collaboration with development and QA teams will drive manual and test automation best practices to deliver high-quality software. Responsibilities: - Utilize your coding background to report bugs effectively as a manual tester - Demonstrate understanding and exposure to Selenium/Java Automation - Possess basics in communication, Jira, and GitHub - Leverage a strong software tester background with thorough understanding of SDLC - Create comprehensive test plans based on project requirements - Write detailed test cases and execute them, providing clear reports - Efficiently create bugs and follow the complete bug life cycle - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test automation strategies - Develop and maintain end-to-end test suites for web applications validation - Execute automated test scripts for regression, functional, and performance testing - Identify and report defects, track issues, and work with developers for timely resolution - Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing - Maintain code using Source Control systems, primarily Git - Write clear and concise test documentation, including test plans and test cases - Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure best practices - Stay updated with industry trends and share knowledge within the team Qualifications: - BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Computer Science or MCA - 3+ years of proven experience in Manual Testing and exposure to test automation using Selenium/Java - Strong proficiency in Java and OOPS concepts - Experience with Agile software development processes and practices - Familiarity with modern web development technologies like HTML5, CSS3, React, Angular, etc. - Knowledge of API testing and tools like Postman or similar - Familiarity with version control systems, primarily Git - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities - Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, BitBucket CI, or similar - Experience with performance testing and load testing tools is a plus,
