QA Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and talented QA engineer who will be responsible for designing and running manual and automated test cases to check the performance of the application or the software.

Role & responsibilities

• Perform detailed manual and automation testing across multiple platforms and environments to ensure the quality and reliability of the application.
• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional requirements.
• Identify, log, and track defects through to resolution.
• Collaborate with the development and business teams to understand the project requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Develop and implement manual and automated testing strategies for software applications.
• Actively participate in agile/scrum ceremonies, providing detailed feedback on testing progress and defect resolution.
• Execute Manual and Automated test cases and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of automated testing processes and tools.
• Ensure adherence to the best testing practices, standards, and processes.
• Ability to manage multiple testing projects simultaneously.

Preferred candidate profile

• 3+ years of experience in Manual and Automation testing.
• Comprehensive knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, including Regression, Sanity, Smoke testing.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and practices.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to think critically, analyze problems, and quickly devise solutions.
• Ability to manage projects independently and take full ownership of the testing process.
• Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
• Experienced in manual testing and automation testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.
• Experienced in API testing tools like Postman, Swagger, Apache JMeter, SoapUI, etc.
