Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer with a strong background in manual and automation testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in test planning, scripting, execution, defect tracking, and automation frameworks. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality releases in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

Perform manual and automated testing for web, mobile, and API-based applications.

Identify, document, and track software defects through to resolution.

Develop and maintain automation frameworks for regression and smoke testing.

Work closely with developers and product teams to ensure quality standards are met.

Conduct functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.

Participate in Agile/Scrum processes including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies.

Technical Skills Required:

Strong experience in manual testing and test case design.

Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.

Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured).

Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar).

Knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation.

Experience testing across multiple browsers, platforms, and devices.

Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.

Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) preferred.
