About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA Data Analyst with strong experience in testing data pipelines, SQL models, and DBT (Data Build Tool). The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring data accuracy, quality, and integrity across our ETL/ELT processes and data governance Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for data models and pipelines built using DBT.
Conduct thorough data validation across SQL models and end-to-end data workflows to ensure data quality and consistency.
Collaborate closely with data engineers and analysts to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
Document and manage detailed test cases, user scenarios, and test artifacts.
Ensure compliance with data governance policies by validating metadata using tools like Collibra.
Identify, log, and track defects, ensuring resolution and continuous improvement in data processes.
Perform root cause analysis and participate in regression testing of data Skills & Experience :
5+ years of experience in software/data quality assurance with a focus on data platforms and testing cycles.
Hands-on expertise with DBT (Data Build Tool) and validation of SQL-based data models.
Strong SQL proficiency for querying, validating, and testing data transformations.
Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts.
Experience with Collibra or similar metadata management and data governance tools.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and documentation abilities to collaborate across cross-functional to Have :
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Exposure to cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
Knowledge of Python for data testing automation.
