QA Automation

As a Lead I - Software Testing (QA Automation) at UST in Trivandrum, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and execute automated test suites using Java, Selenium, TestNG, and JSystem. By creating robust and maintainable automated tests, you will directly contribute to enhancing the quality and efficiency of our software development lifecycle. Your tasks will involve working on various projects, including web applications, APIs, and system integrations. Your expertise in Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and JSystem will be essential in creating comprehensive test coverage and identifying defects and inconsistencies through the analysis of test results. You will collaborate closely with developers and other QA engineers to resolve software defects and participate in code reviews to ensure the testability and quality of the software. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining test automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency and scalability. Your role will also include creating and maintaining test documentation, such as test plans, test cases, and test reports. You will actively contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies, ensuring regression testing is carried out to prevent the introduction of new issues with new features and bug fixes. To excel in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and possess at least 4 years of experience in QA automation, with a focus on Java and Selenium. Proficiency in Agile methodologies, problem-solving skills, and experience with JSystem framework are highly valued. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effective team collaboration and successful performance in this role.
