Qa Automation Testing Engineer

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

• Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution.

• - 4+ years of experience in Automation Testing Tools (Selenium with Java, Python or C#, Playwright with Javascript/Typescript, Cypress)

• - Should have experience in requirement gathering, Test Case designing, Execution and reporting throughout the STLC

• - Should be able to independently develop automation scripts

• - Follow guidelines/process, usage of reusable modules/functions, dry run of scripts, fix script issues, test data setup

• - Failure analysis and debugging

• - Coordination with application SME's

• - Defect logging, review, assignment, retest and closure

• - Interaction with business users, vendor SME and customer SMEs

• - Contribute towards automation test strategy, test plan and framework

• - Should have experience of API Testing

• -Good to have Experience on Database Testing/ETL Testing

• Perform regression testing to validate software functionality after updates or changes.

• Continuously improve testing processes and frameworks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in QA automation.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in QA automation, with a strong focus on tools like Selenium.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Python.

• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with advanced automation frameworks and tools.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

• Certifications in QA or software testing are a plus.
