About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

• API Testing:

  Develop and execute test plans for REST and GraphQL APIs, ensuring functional accuracy and reliability.

• Data Validation:

  Verify the accuracy and consistency of job data across Graph and SQL databases.

• Automation:

  Build, maintain, and optimize automated testing frameworks for APIs and backend systems.

• Performance Testing:

  Conduct load, stress, and scalability testing on APIs to identify performance bottlenecks.

• Security Testing:

  Identify and report potential vulnerabilities in API endpoints and backend systems to prevent unauthorized access or data breaches.

• Integration Testing:

  Ensure seamless data exchange and communication between frontend, backend, and third-party systems.

• Collaboration:

  Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members to understand requirements, identify issues, and deliver high-quality software.

• Defect Management:

  Document, track, and prioritize bugs, providing clear steps to reproduce, observed behavior, and expected behavior, while collaborating with developers for timely resolution.

Experience & Qualifications:

Must-Haves:

• Strong experience with

  Clojure, Python, Node.js/TypeScript, Datomic, and GraphQL

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  relational, graph, and document-oriented databases

  (PostgreSQL, Datomic, ClickHouse, Elasticsearch).
• Experience working in

  cloud environments

  (GCP preferred).
• Familiarity with

  message brokers

  (e.g., GCP Pub/Sub, Apache Kafka) and

  data processing frameworks

  like Apache Beam.
• Proven ability to develop comprehensive and maintainable

  automated testing frameworks

  .
• Strong skills in

  developing robust test cases

  and documenting defects with clarity.
• Excellent

  attention to detail, critical thinking, and communication skills

  .
• Ability to work

  onsite in Kharar, Punjab

  , collaborating effectively with the team.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Knowledge of modern test management and reporting tools.
