Job Description

About the Role:

QA Automation Manager

Role & responsibilities

Lead and manage the QA Automation team, ensuring timely and quality delivery of testing activities.
Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks and scripts using tools like
Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar
.
Collaborate closely with the
Product, Development, and DevOps
teams to define quality standards and ensure seamless test integration into CI/CD pipelines.
Identify test requirements, create and maintain automation test plans, and drive test coverage improvements.
Perform code reviews of automation scripts and ensure adherence to best practices.
Analyze test results, identify root causes of defects, and ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
Mentor and train QA engineers on automation tools, scripting, and testing methodologies.
Continuously evaluate and adopt new automation tools, technologies, and best practices to improve the QA process.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
7–10 years of overall QA experience with
minimum 4 years in automation testing
.
Proficiency in automation frameworks such as
Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or TestNG/JUnit
.
Strong programming skills in
Java, Python, or JavaScript
.
Experience in building and maintaining
CI/CD pipelines
using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of
API testing tools
(like Postman, Rest Assured) and
performance testing
tools (like JMeter).
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
Proven experience in leading a QA team and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and leadership skills with an ability to collaborate across functions.
