QA Automation Lead

Role Overview: As the QA & Automation Lead, you will be responsible for shaping and scaling the quality engineering function within the company. Reporting directly to the CDO, you will lead a team of 8-10 QA engineers, focusing on maturing and scaling quality assurance practices. Your role will involve a combination of deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and a forward-thinking approach to quality to ensure high-performance releases and flawless user experiences for our sports and gaming products. Key Responsibilities: - Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 8-10 QA engineers by setting clear goals, conducting performance reviews, and championing quality assurance best practices. - Develop and execute a comprehensive QA vision and automation strategy aligned with the fast-paced product roadmap, defining key quality metrics and providing regular reports to senior leadership. - Architect and enhance test automation frameworks across Web, Mobile, and API platforms, drive integration of automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, and oversee the development of a comprehensive regression suite. - Own QA documentation, collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle, manage defect tracking processes, and advocate for tools and technologies to improve team efficiency. Qualification Required: - 10+ years of progressive experience in Software Quality Assurance with a minimum of 3+ years in a leadership capacity. - Experience working directly with clients of varying scales and familiarity with the sports, media, or gaming domain is a plus. - Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript, extensive hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium, and expertise in API automation and manual testing. - Solid understanding of CI/CD principles, proficiency in tools like Jenkins and GitHub, and experience with test management tools like Jira, TestRail, or AIO. - Deep expertise in Agile and Scrum methodologies, exceptional leadership and team-building skills, excellent communication abilities, and strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.,
