QA Automation Engineer

As a skilled Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing automation frameworks while continuously improving testing processes. Your primary duties will include developing and maintaining automated test scripts for both web and mobile applications using tools like Playwright. You must have a strong background in scripting languages, particularly Python, and be adept at implementing and managing automated testing strategies for REST APIs using tools such as RestAssured or similar. In this role, your mandatory skills will include Test Automation using Playwright, hands-on experience with Python, and API Testing automation. Additionally, familiarity with SQL is considered a desired skill. The ideal candidate should have a total of 7+ years of experience, with at least 5+ years of relevant experience in test automation. You will be working on a 12-month contract with a vendor billing rate not exceeding INR 8500/- per day. The precise work location for this position is Hyderabad STP/SEZ (preferred), although the role may require work from anywhere in India.
