QA Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to building the core automation framework


• Contribute to creating common modules


• contribute to building test executions and reporting results


• Supporting the DevOps coaches and providing technical support to team.

• Proven experience in automated testing, including hands-on experience with industry-standard testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).


• Proficiency in various programming languages, such as Python, Java, Golang, Javascript for developing and maintaining automated test scripts.


• Experience with performance testing tools, such as JMeter or LoadRunner, is highly desirable. (not mandatory but very desired)


• Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies and testing concepts (test planning, test design, test execution, test reporting).


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and diagnose software defects


• Analyze test results, identify defects, and report issues to the development team for timely resolution.


• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process, identifying areas for automation and optimization.


• Work closely with other team members to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the software development lifecycle.


• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in automated testing tools, technologies, and best practices.


• Contribute to the development and maintenance of a comprehensive test automation framework.


• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.


• Proactively identify potential risks and issues related to software quality and propose mitigation strategies.

Technology skills

• Deep experience and hand-on with QA and DevOps practices




• Knowledge of testing tools and technologies to effectively guide the teams toward adopting the Bell internal testing framework




• 5+ years experience with test automation framework and design




• Strong understanding and execution of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and different testing methodologies




• 8+ years experience in Selenium, Cucumber, Appium and Rest assured

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• Bachelor s degree in computer science engineering, or related field.




• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
