Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our growing team at our Chandigarh IT Park location. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automation testing with Appium, TypeScript, WebdriverIO, and Cucumber BDD frameworks. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for web and mobile applications to ensure a high-quality product experience for our users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement automated test scripts using TypeScript and WebdriverIO.
• Create and maintain test cases based on Cucumber BDD for clear documentation and collaboration with the development team.
• Develop and execute automation frameworks for both web and mobile (Android/iOS) platforms using Appium.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev, Product, QA) to understand application features and technical implementation.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum processes, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups.
• Identify, document, and track bugs through to resolution.
• Optimize test cases and execution to improve test efficiency and coverage.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in QA Automation.
• Strong knowledge of Appium for mobile testing (Android/iOS).
• Proficient in TypeScript with practical knowledge of WebdriverIO.
• Experience working with Cucumber BDD and writing feature files.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Good understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured) is a plus.
• Exposure to performance or security testing tools is an advantage.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹330,354.13 - ₹985,265.11 per year
