QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in JavaScript and hands-on experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in web and API testing and a good understanding of the software development lifecycle, QA processes, and Agile practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automation test scripts using JavaScript.
  
• Work with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or WebdriverIO.
  
• Perform Web application testing and API testing across various environments.
  
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and QA members to define and refine testing requirements.
  
• Ensure high-quality test coverage by identifying gaps and enhancing automation scripts.
  
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
  
• Utilize Git/GitHub for version control, branching, and code reviews.
  
• Document test scenarios, results, and defects clearly and accurately.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (Mandatory).
  
• Proven hands-on experience in QA Automation.
  
• Expertise with one or more automation frameworks: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or WebdriverIO.
  
• Good understanding of Web and API testing tools and methodologies.
  
• Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
  
• Experience with Git/GitHub for code management.
  
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
  
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
