QA Automation - Digital Solution Consultant Sr. Analyst

You will be responsible for expanding test automation coverage to ensure product quality, reduce manual testing efforts, and enhance the overall efficiency of the QA process. - Plan, design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts including non-trivial design and implementation decisions - Collaborate with QA and Dev teams on planning, prioritization, scoping, and estimation for automation - Execute automated tests and analyze results - Identify defects and track them - Maintain and manage test suites, i.e Build suite, regression suites - Create and manage automation test data sets - Perform peer code reviews - Enhance test automation frameworks as needed - Assist in collecting quality metrics - Continuously stay informed about tools and technologies that enhance automated testing efficiency and capabilities, and proactively share relevant insights with the manager - May lead small automation efforts within the team - Support and mentor new hires Technical Skills required for this role: - Strong understanding of Core Java and OOP concepts - Proficiency in writing automated test cases using Selenium WebDriver integrated with TestNG or JUnit - Extensive knowledge of various frameworks and Hands-on experience in their practical implementation - Solid understanding of version control like Perforce, GIT, or any version controlling tool and branching strategy - Strong understanding of relational databases with hands-on experience in platforms like Oracle and PostgreSQL - Working knowledge of SQL, with the ability to write moderate to complex queries for data validation and verification - Working knowledge of test management tools like Spira, HPQC, or similar tools for test case management and reporting - In-depth experience with standard automation frameworks and expertise in enhancing and maintaining scalable, efficient test automation frameworks - Expertise in Jenkins CI/CD tool - Advanced debugging skills to identify and resolve issues in automated scripts or during test execution NTT DATA is a $30 billion trusted global innovator of business and technology services.
