Python/Django Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Python/Django Developer with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in building, maintaining, and deploying scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in backend development, API design, and database management, along with a solid understanding of modern development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain robust backend applications using Python and Django frameworks.
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate with frontend or third-party systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, product managers, and QA.
• Maintain and optimize existing systems for improved performance and scalability.
• Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL—including schema design and query optimization.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and sprint planning.
• Implement security best practices and ensure data protection across the platform.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in Python and Django development.
• Strong knowledge of Django ORM, MVT architecture, and middleware.
• Experience in REST API development and authentication protocols (JWT/OAuth).
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (basic frontend integration).
• Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
• Experience with Git/GitHub or similar version control systems.
• Familiarity with Docker, Celery, Redis is a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an advantage.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Django REST Framework (DRF).
• Knowledge of asynchronous event-driven architecture.
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps concepts.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
