Python Test Engineer

The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for data validation, transformation, and UI testing. You will be required to conduct data testing using Python frameworks such as Pandas, PySpark, and Pytest, as well as perform UI and API test automation using Playwright. Collaboration with development and product teams to identify test requirements and strategies will be a key aspect of this role. You will also be expected to analyze test results, identify issues, and work on resolutions. Ensuring that automated tests are integrated into the CI/CD pipeline and validating large datasets to ensure data integrity and performance will be crucial responsibilities. Additionally, you will work on data transformation processes, including validating rule-based column replacements and exception handling. The ideal candidate should possess strong programming skills in Python and proficiency in data manipulation and testing libraries like Pandas, PySpark, and Polars. Experience in data validation and reconciliation tools such as Great Expectations/Pytest, as well as hands-on experience with AWS services like S3 and AWS Glue, are required. Familiarity with SQL for data transformation tasks and strong experience with API and UI test automation tools and libraries are also essential for this role.,
