Python Team Lead

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced Python Team Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable applications. The role requires expertise in Python (FastAPI, async, Celery, Pandas, NumPy) along with solid experience in PHP frameworks. You will be leading a team, guiding architecture decisions, integrating AI-driven pipelines, and ensuring the delivery of robust, secure, and high-performance software solutions. 

You will be responsible for:

• Lead and mentor the development team across Python and PHP projects.
• Architect and implement RESTful APIs and services using FastAPI.
• Design and manage microservices architecture for scalability.
• Implement asynchronous programming (async/await, concurrency).
• Use Celery for distributed task management and background jobs.
• Perform data processing and analysis with Pandas and NumPy.
• Integrate RAG pipelines, LangChain, and LLMs for AI-powered solutions.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Work with Elasticsearch for indexing and advanced search.
• Design, optimize, and manage MySQL databases.
• Integrate and manage Stripe, PayPal, and Razorpay (one-time & recurring).
• Implement payment webhooks, retries, refunds, and error handling.
• Third-Party API & SDK Integrations

1. SendGrid – transactional emails.
2. Mailchimp – email marketing and automation.
3. Twilio – SMS, calls, WhatsApp notifications.
4. Google Places API – address autocomplete, geolocation, reverse geocoding.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• At least 3 years of proven Python experience (FastAPI, async, Celery, Pandas, NumPy).
• Strong PHP background (CodeIgniter, Laravel, Core PHP).
• Solid experience with microservices, CI/CD pipelines, Elasticsearch, and MySQL.
• Hands-on experience with payment gateways and third-party APIs.

Good To Have:

• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Exposure to test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks.
