Location:

Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain backend services using Python.
Understand and help in converting existing PERL scripts to Python (with or without modification).
Analyze and interpret Sybase database structures and SQL pointers in both PERL and Python code.
Work with database concepts, including complex joins, filters, and programmatic controls.
Modify and optimize stored procedures as needed.
Collaborate with the DB development team to support ongoing projects and automation efforts.
Use tools like Ansible to automate tasks (a plus, not mandatory).

Required Skills & Experience:

5+ years of hands-on experience in Python programming.
Working knowledge or understanding of PERL scripting.
Experience with Sybase or similar RDBMS and SQL query optimization.
Strong understanding of SQL joins, filtering, and control structures.
Ability to read, understand, and modify stored procedures.
Exposure to Ansible or other automation tools (preferred).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
