Python / Golang Developer-Cloud Automation

Role & responsibilities

This role will primarily work with our senior devs and our stakeholders to design high-level solutions which provide identified roadmap items or architecture components, define and refine deliverable milestones for these items to ensure were delivering the right thing, prioritize our roadmap and backlog to ensure were delivering the right thing at the right time, implement and engineer software components for our deliverables, and most importantly, facilitate our teams skill-up and growth in these and all related areas. This role will additionally provide the same product ownership and software contributions to work efforts which support our users and partners which will occasionally involve firefighting and diagnostics. In short clarify and shape our future, design systems, collaborate with our team to build and systems, and above all things, actively be an agent of change - drive skill-up, growth, and culture change toward working effectively, sustainably, and continuously improving.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

1. Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

   :

• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure solutions using ARM templates and

  Terraform.

• Develop reusable, modular, and scalable IaC modules.
• Ensure infrastructure definitions adhere to best practices, including security, scalability, and cost efficiency.

1. Scripting and Programming

   :

• Automate repetitive tasks and processes using scripting languages such as

  Python

  ,

  Golang

  , Groovy/Java (Good to have)
• Develop custom scripts and tools to streamline deployment, monitoring, and maintenance processes.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate scripts into CI/CD pipelines, experience in Jenkins/GitHub Actions.

Cloud Expertise

• Expertise in

  GCP

  to design and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure solutions. Good to have Azure cloud experience too.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and reliability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-based systems, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
• Stay updated with new Azure features and integrate them into existing architectures as needed.
