Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Python Django Backend Developer with at least 1 year of professional experience in backend development. The ideal candidate should be proficient in building and managing REST APIs, performing server deployments, handling database operations, and testing APIs with tools like Postman. This role requires technical expertise, independence, and the ability to deliver high-quality backend solutions that integrate seamlessly with web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain backend features using Python (Django Framework).
• Design, build, and optimize RESTful APIs for web and mobile platforms.
• Use Postman (or similar tools) for API testing, debugging, and validation.
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications on Linux-based servers.
• Work with relational databases such as MySQL/PostgreSQL (query writing, optimization, schema design).
• Integrate third-party APIs/services (payment gateways, SMS, email, etc.).
• Ensure system scalability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain proper documentation, version control (Git), and follow coding best practices.
• Participate in debugging, testing, and optimization of backend services.

Must-Have Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on development experience with Python & Django.
• Strong knowledge of REST API development and integration.
• Practical experience using Postman for API testing and validation.
• Experience in server deployment using cloud services (AWS, DigitalOcean, or similar).
• Proficiency in working with MySQL/PostgreSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Git/version control and basic DevOps practices.
• Ability to work independently and deliver solutions on time.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
• Graduation is mandatory.
• Candidate must have their own laptop.
• Immediate joiners only.

Good to Have (Optional Skills)

• Basic exposure to frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
