Python Developer

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of AI-enabled applications using modern tools and frameworks.
• Support the implementation and integration of AI/ML models into production systems under guidance from senior engineers.
• Contribute to backend development using Python or Java frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Spring), focusing on maintainability and performance.
• Build and enhance front-end interfaces using React.js to support user-centric design.
• Participate in the development of cloud-native applications, leveraging public cloud platforms (e.g., GCP).
• Collaborate with team members to understand business requirements and translate them into technical tasks.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
• Assist in writing unit tests and supporting test automation efforts.
• Help monitor application performance and contribute to issue resolution and debugging.
• Stay current with foundational AI/ML concepts and software engineering practices.
• Demonstrate flexibility in work assignments and contribute to team deliverables.
• Adhere to company policies and participate in continuous learning and development.

Required Qualifications

• 23 years of software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with backend development using Python or Java.
• Hands-on experience to front-end development using React.js or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably GCP) and basic cloud-native development practices.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and basic integration patterns.
• Exposure to DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, or Terraform is a plus.
• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and interest in learning more (e.g., NLP, computer vision, LLMs).
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) or NoSQL systems.
• Ability to work in Agile teams and contribute to sprint deliverables.
• Experience/Familiarity with coding assistant tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and a strong willingness to adopt them in daily development work.
• Familiarity with building AI agents using Google ADK is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn from senior team members.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
