Python Developer Lead

Role & responsibilities

Role of a Senior Python Developer is to design, develop, and test robust, REST-based microservices within a complex, decoupled

architecture. This role involves building scalable and resilient services that are deployed and managed in a containerized environment

(Docker/Kubernetes). The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end development, from writing clean, efficient code to ensuring

comprehensive unit and integration testing. They will also play a key role in troubleshooting and debugging services in a challenging, multi-

system integration environment. The position requires a hands-on expert who can deliver high-quality, production-ready code that drives

the business functionality. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about solving complex enterprise challenges with elegant,

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop high-volume, high-performance, high-availability, service-oriented applications using proven Python

frameworks and technologies.

Design and develop RESTful Web Services using Microservices architecture

Database schema design / modelling (ER).

Work with cross functional distributed team across time zones in an Agile/Scrum set-up

Provide solution to business problems, debug & troubleshoot issues

Qualifications:

Skills & Experience:

Programming

Hands on expertise in Python, Python modules and REST APIs. Experience with FastAPI or other REST Frameworks

Proven hands-on experience with microservices architecture and microservice communication strategies.

Experience in integrating messaging queue solutions like Kafka, MQTT in a decoupled architecture.

Knowledge of design patterns, event-driven architecture, and modular service decomposition.

Proficient with testing frameworks like PyTest or unittest, know how to use mocks

Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes are essential.

Experience in working with RDBMS like PostgreSQL (schema design & modelling) is essential. Experience with time series database

or NoSQL is a plus.

Experience in usage of static code analysis tools like Sonar.

Experience with Version control systems like Git, Bitbucket.

Debug issues across multiple services, read logs from containerized systems to solve problems.
